Meet the Team
Ivor Zimmelman
Ivor Zimmelman brings many years of experience
and qualifications to Integrated SharePoint Development, Inc. (ISD). He
has been involved in the IT industry since 1990 and during this time has
used his knowledge to help companies achieve a more streamlined approach
to their daily business operations.
Ivor began his career as an electrical engineering technician and soon
thereafter moved into the computer industry where he developed his
skills in the administration deployment and support of Information
Systems, specializing in Microsoft’s Server technology, Exchange Server
and SQL Server.
He then earned a computer hardware support diploma while working his way
to IT Director. Over the next few years Ivor quickly realized the need
for information sharing and customized business applications. He became
involved in software development and earned his MCP qualification in
Visual Basic, ASP and distributed Applications, thus allowing him to
develop applications based on the logical and conceptual design needs
of companies.
He has developed and implemented custom solutions that have moved
companies from manual tasks to a streamlined online application, making
information available to anyone that needs it.
With his knowledge in the hardware and software areas and the advent of
SharePoint it was the perfect stepping stone to ISD. Ivor got in on the
ground floor and has been working with SharePoint since its inception in
beta release.
During his time at ISD, Ivor has played an integral role as Technology
Director. He has helped develop SharePoint applications for various
industries with responsibilities that have included design,
configuration and deployment of both the hardware infrastructure and
software integration.
Brandon Samuels
Brandon Samuels has been in IT
industry since 1989. He has extensive skills in various programming
languages and Development Applications. Brandon focused his skills on
end user application development and has extensive SharePoint Experience
in developing front end solutions. He was involved with SharePoint from
inception and has been part of all beta development test groups. He is
an experienced developer using SharePoint Designer including customized
workflow design.
Software Development:
Brandon started programming software in BASIC in 1980on first home PC ,
Sinclair ZX81 and Sinclair ZX Spectrum Systems and has accomplished the
following:
Developed and sold numerous educational games software for
Spectravideo PC systems
Developed one of the first PC training centers in South
Africa and trained hundreds of students.
Extensive design and development in Clarion 4GL application
development software
Developed custom software solutions for 14 years for numerous
companies.
Higher Education:
Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Business Information Systems
in 1988 from the University of
Witwatersrand , Johannesburg , South Africa in 1988.
Entrepreneur
Ran successful companies:
Startech Ltd. – A South African company specializing in
import and distribution of Computer hardware and
peripherals. Employed over 50 people and had sales exceeding
$ 9 million us$.
Interimex Inc – A US based company which was started to
export electronic products back t South Africa.
Within 3 years was exporting over $ 14 million US $ yearly
with a staff of only 4 people. Was a major exporter
of Novell, Sysco, IBM, HP and more.
SB Productions – US based Company that specializes in
providing corporate services to various companies in the
entertainment industry. Developed specialized SharePoint
Applications and data reporting tools to facilitate these
entertainment and related companies procedures and data
reporting.
Integrated SharePoint Development - The Company was formed after
realizing the market need for specialized and skilled SharePoint
developers.
